# Turki Alghamdi Source: https://hello.cv/turkialghamdi ## About Turki Ali Alghamdi Received the bachelor's degree in computer science from King Abdulaziz University,Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the master's degree in Distributed Systems and Networks from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom, in 2006 and the Ph.D degree from the University of Bradord, United Kingdom, in 2010. He is a Professor in Computer Science Department, Faculty of Compuing, University of Umm Al-Qura in Makkah (UQU), and the Founding Director of UQU Smart Campus Center (SCC) and SMarT Research lab. He has more than 15 years of research and development, academia and project management experience in IT. He has previously been Vice Dean of Technical Affairs for IT Deanship in Umm Al-Qura University and Dean of eLearning and IT in Taif university. He holds CDCDP and CDCMP certificates. He is passionate about developing the translational and collaborative interface between industry and academia.
